HEIC to JPG Converter
100% processed in your browser. iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, which many websites, older PCs, and non-Apple apps can't open -- this converts it to a JPG everything can open.
⚠️ Limit: File must be under 20MB. First conversion loads a ~1.3MB decoder -- a moment's wait only the first time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser -- your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
Why can't my computer open HEIC files?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Format) is Apple's default photo format on iPhone -- it compresses better than JPG, but Windows PCs, most web upload forms, and a lot of software don't know how to open it without extra software installed. Converting to JPG, the format basically everything supports, sidesteps that entirely.
Does this use AI to convert the image?
No. It uses a small, standard image-decoding library (not AI) to read the HEIC file and re-encode it as a JPG -- the same kind of format conversion any photo editor does, just running in your browser instead of on a server.
Will Live Photos or burst shots convert properly?
Only the single still image gets converted -- a Live Photo's motion/video portion (stored separately by iOS) isn't part of the HEIC file itself, so it won't carry over. For a plain photo, this isn't a concern.
